Asheville Strava Road Hill Climb Time Trial Series brought to you by Downtown Asheville Racing Club (DARC) and Warren Cycling

Where: Around Asheville, NC

When: Weekly from May 24 – June 15, 2020

Who: Open to all solo riders

Categories: Men & Women Open, Men & Women 45+, Men & Women 65+

Format: Using the Strava segments listed for each week, rankings will be established over the 2-days for each segment. Points will be allocated (see schedule) and placings for each segment and overall series will be posted. Prizes for the series will be awarded as available. Each segment can be ridden multiple times over each 2-day period with the fastest time used for scoring.

Points: Participation counts! Everyone receives 5 points just for recording a time for each segment during the designated time period. Bonus points are awarded for the fastest 20 times for each segment as follows:

1st – 30 points, 2nd – 25 points, 3rd – 22 points, 4th 20 points, 5th – 18 points, 6th – 16 points, 7th – 14 points, 8th – 13 points, 9th – 12 points, 10th – 11 points, 11th – 10 points, 12th – 9 points, 13th – 8 points, 14th – 7 points, 15th – 6 points, 16th – 5 points, 17th – 4 points, 18th – 3 points, 19th – 2 points, 20th – 1 point

Prizes: Wine tasting from Metro Wines, gift certificates from Gan Shan West and The Chop Shop Butchery, 6-month subscription to The Rider/Runner Box, cycling caps from DARC, entry in to a 2020 Lung Buster Time Trial and maybe more! We will continue to add more prizes as they become available.

Rankings will be based upon times from the designated Strava segments on the designated days. Riders are responsible for riding the specific designated Strava segments listed on the designated days to be include in the rankings.
