Previous Camp Highlights

Tuscany, Italy

Starting in 2010, Warren Cycling has been working with 14-time Tour de France racer, Max Lelli to provide unique cycling experiences in Italy. 2013 and 2011 saw us racing on the Max Lelli team in the Giro d’Sardinia, a 7-day stage race on the famed Island of Sardinia. In 2010, we raced in two Granfondos, saw a stage of the Giro d’Italia and trained in the Tuscan countryside. In 2012, we were part of an 8-person TTT squad, racing against 170+ other teams in a 40k test against the clock!

San Luis Obispo, CA

Warren Cycling has been leading camps to San Luis Obispo since 2005. Most recently this has been an extensive 8-day camp for 35+ athletes of varying ability levels. The camp includes extensive skill development including riding in groups, pace lines, race tactics and a separate skills clinic. This March camp serves as both a way to get in significant base mileage as well as a chance to do some significant climbing. Riders frequently talk about this camp as being a favorite as all they have to worry about is riding, eating and sleeping!

Asheville, NC

This camp has been held since 2008 and is an intense experience for the serious rider. Only 4 days long, the first three days average over 100 miles with over 10,000 feet of climbing per day. We climb in and around the Mountains near Ashville, including climbing Mt. Mitchell, which is the highest point east of the Rocky Mountains. For this smaller camp (~12 campers) we stay at a local B&B for all the comforts of home.

Other locations

Warren Cycling also offers more intimate camp experiences for small groups of cyclists in a variety of locations. Since 2003 we have visited Los Olivos, CA, Austin, TX, Tucson, AZ, Northeast Georgia, Phoenix, AZ , Eastern Wisconsin, Brown County Indiana and Orlando, FL. Coach Randy has a master’s degree in counseling and guidance which he can put to use for team building at camps. In the past, coach Randy, has also run camps specifically for women, tailoring this experience to their unique needs. We can create a camp just for you and your group.
